Technorati Favs and driving more traffic to your site

I write Murphy’s Law to deal with my own frustrations in having a child with special needs and to laugh at myself. My hope is that others will become addicted to my bizarre and quirky thoughts and repeatedly visit. In that vein, the word will spread and slowly my pathetic brand of humor will infect the world and people will become bigger and kinder in the world.

Now you make think that goal ludicrous even ridiculous. But I have been known to accomplish the impossible in my life. I have a lot of work to do on my blog to bring it up to date. But I have other things right now that are more important. Like run my real business in the real world so I can keep a roof over our heads and make sure my son gets into the right school next year…he’s regressed to the 1% level.

Guys bear with me. My goal is simple. I’m doing this to raise traffic, because I want to make the world a kinder place. People laughing at me and with me..........hopefully somewhere along the line someone reads something I wrote and it makes a difference in somebody’s life. That’s all.

Jacer, of Internet Safety – For Our Children’s Sake has an incredible blog. She truly does. I am amazed and in awe of this woman. Her site is of critical importance to all parents, educators and government officials. It is astounding to me what she has accomplished in such a short time frame. She is an innovator and pulls no punches. She champions children not interests group. Her integrity is rare in a world filled with payola and payoffs. She has been nominated Best Educational Blog and I would ask you to vote for her, for I am truly impressed with this young lady. (young is a relative term in my life).

Gary Lee started a new meme called the Technorati fave train after reading Maki's Favorites exchange experiment outlining the importance of breaking into the "Technorati Top 100" most favorited blogs list." - Ilker.

The "Technorati Top 100" is a list of blogs according to the number of people who have favorited them in their Technorati account. Benefits include increased exposure to your blog and to other bloggers which will bring in more incoming links, subscribers, and readers as well.

How important is your blog's traffic? After all, without traffic, what is the point?

Those who want good karma will fave you back. If not, you will for sure get the benefits of faves from the bloggers who continue this list after you.
