Internet Safety For Our Children's Sake is blog that is dear to my heart. Not only has Jace become on my best friends online, but this is a blog I am a fanatic about supporting . Why? Because Jace is passionate about what she does and does it with such grace and style. She offers the world a service that all of us need to recognize...which is to keep the internet safe for our children.
Nothing scares me and I mean nothing, except for internet predators. They can harm our children. The future rests in our children's hands. I learned long ago that "forever and never" do not exist.
So for those of you out there that think "it will never happen to me", think again! Watch your children closely...and visit her blog.
Anyway, this post is about what Megan Bayliss has done! Sorry, I get carried away when Jace does things, probably because I admire her so!
Megan Bayliss, is on a crusade. She just launched an exceptional website, Imaginif.
"Imaginif…there was a world where children were safe.
Imaginif…you contributed to it."
This Meme BITSS is about recognizing bloggers who support one another and keep others safe. You are supposed to select 5 people you would confide in, warn or protect online.
I'm the wacky mom so do you think that I could select only 5 people that I would protect or warn since I'm pathetic and a perfectionist? Here's my other problem, when I love someone, I'm outta control! When it comes to loyalty? A client once described me as a dog! There you go! I'm a freaking dog. How do you like that one?
The thought of only selecting five people? Holy crap! I'm having a heart attack just thinking about that. I always taught my children, know which rules to break. I'm breaking the rules. Imagine that?
So here are all the people that have meant so much to me since I started blogging. That's the beautiful thing about blogging isn't it? The relationships you develop...the people you meet...how you grow? (stop looking at my fat butt)
Carol at My View Of It has supported me from the first day we met. Carol is awesome. She really is! If you haven't visited her blog, you must. I love how she says what she says! Let's face it, I'm out there. She laughs at my stupid jokes and thinks I'm funny. The humor blogs removed me...probably because I was giving to much commentary on life, like how not to raise rotten brats...not like that matters! I saw they put me back. They'll read this and remove me again.
Jo at Life with Heathen's is another blogger I admire and love! If you haven't visited her, you must. She is amazing! If you think you have a lot on your plate...take a walk over there and you'll see a whole different view! I just down right freaking love this woman. She take no crappola. Notice how I make my own words? She does that too! We have our own language. We don't need to proper English language. One of my favorite words is holyfreakingjeesupeets. She understands that word. I'd put something else in there like holyf***k, but thought the other was nicer.
Polli at Polliwog's Pond is incredible. Six kids on an island! And I wanted six kids. She's had the most fascinating life growing up and is simply wonderful. She has supported me in times when I really needed it...and I adore her for that! Let's face it I am anything but normal. I wanted six kids...I should say six boys. Imagine that? They would have been six starving boys. Good thing it didn't happen. I'd be blogging from jail.
EastCoastlife is the first real friend I made when I started blogging and she encouraged me when others (normal people) wanted to beat the crap out of me! Imagine that? Not like that hasn't happened before. That is just so freaking funny to me. Somebody actually trying to beat me up! (verbally) I'm ROTLMAO thinking about that! So did she. I will always love for her that.
Lifecruiser makes me feel normal. Why? The first time I visited her blog I saw a picture of her laying in bed and said, "wo...this is too freaking funny." If you haven't visited her blog you have to. She lives in Sweden and travels the world...I love how this woman thinks!
Crystal at Boobs, Injuries & Dr.Pepper is hysterical. She has in the "About me" section of her blog, "This is not a mommy blog. My kids aren't perfect & I cuss alot. I think that disqualifies me from the mommy blog club." She is a riot! An absolute riot...one of the funniest people I have ever read. I swear I went into breakdown mode for a while...because I think I'm so pathetic compared to her!
I've decided I'm not a mommy blogger. Now why on God's green earth did I ever put myself in there? I don't know, I just thought I'd try it out.
Cathrine sees and knows a side of me most would never understand. She's an amazing artist. If you haven't visited her blog you must. She encourages me in a way that is just delightful and I adore her!
Deborah at Life in the Fast Lane is just amazing. I adore Deborah. I really do. She's one of those people that you cannot believe is so amazingly sweet. How can anyone be that nice? Trust me, I'm not. She is. She's just the nicest person in the world...and I absolutely love her. I can remember working on a project for a client and told him that the guy working for him might as well hire a bunch of monkeys. You know why? Because the guy was the worst team player in the world. He didn't care about anyone except himself. My client said to me, "Ev, I don't think you need to put any sugar in your coffee in the morning do you?" Sarcasm at its best. Guess what happened? My client ended up firing the guy two years later. I was right. Was it nice of me? No. But it was the truth. I deal in the truth. That's what they pay me for. No comedy routines...but humor is included for free.
Kellpea at Kellementology is one of the funniest people I know and she keeps me rolling. She had a makeover. She looks FABULOUS! Absolutely fabulous. Run over and check her out. Wowsie is all I can say. You are amazing Kellpea! I'll get to that someday soon. Other things right now take precedent!
So congratulations ladies! You rock my world!Copyright 2007 Ev Nucci

Aw Ev - you are just too kind! I am pleased that you consider me one of your "online" friends and I do just love your sense of humor and your great outlook. I have never had one visit to this Blog that I haven't walked away admiring your strength of character.
Hugs,
Carol
Ev, you are a true gem, 1 in a million!!! I'm so glad we met.
And you never cease to make me laugh, I love your style :-)
I'm very honored to be your friend. Thanks so much for including me!
Carol, Cathrine & Deborah, I gotta get but to work yet! I'm the one who is truly blessed by all of you! And I mean that sincerely.
Without all of you......and I mean all of you...
Eastcoastlife, Captain Lifecruiser, Cathrine, Carol, Deborah, Polli, Jo, Crystal, Kellypea and last but not least....ethel (jace) I do not know what I would do without you guys!
When we get older there is nothing more important than female friends and my whole life I was writing...but I did it in "the closet". I was fortunate to meet Diana Osama who wrote "Brokeback Mountain" and she too was a closet writer for years. So I don't feel so crazy and so alone. But you my friends......everyday bring me to life with your words and for that I will always be grateful to all of you! I am the one that is blessed!!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Ms. Ev.
I'm stunned and shocked you got carried away by something! :-0
Ahem...
As I mentioned on my blog, you have been my #1 supporter in this blogging journey. I have learned much from you(mostly what NOT to do, but thats another story!!)...
You are not wacky to me. Great minds think alike you know, and they never stop. Just like that little energizer wabbit. Our one remaining brain cell is a workin' overtime, eh??
No ma'am. You are an amazingly beautiful woman, both inside and out.
You have been instrumental in getting the word out regarding online safety education and awareness. I appreciate it, and you, more than you will ever know.
jace
Thanks Ev for getting us involved with the safety for children on the internet. I visited your friends site and I voted for her! Anyway, it is a different world, I am afraid to even send my kids to school these days! My sister was just blogging the other day about how when she goes to the video store that the kids have to see Girls gone wild next to Cinderella! I hate that our kids are so sexualized so damn early. It sure isn't fair.
i luvs ya ethel!
dawnae, thanks a million for voting for my buddy. I really appreciate it! Internet Safety is critically important. It scares the crappola out of me!
Ev, how the heck did I miss this? I've had my husband on vacation wanting to go here, and do this every day for a week. Although his company is lovely, I'm completely off my entire routine.
Thanks so much for passing this along to me!
